My name is Rohit Omprakash Chokhani. I am pursuing my Masters in Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University . I will graduate on December 18, 2005, and I am exploring possibilities for full time employment from January 5th, 2006.
My previous experiences include working for Backbone Entertainment (Imaginengine) as a graphics technician, Polaris software labs as an associate consultant and Herbalife International as a network marketing supervisor. In these positions, I have had the opportunity to work on projects for clients such as Pixar, Disney, Nickelodeon,THQ, Value soft and Citibank, and have made major contributions to CD-Rom games titles "The Incredibles," " Disney's Play house," "Fairly Odd Parents," and “Tetris Elements."
I am currently a research assistant at the Institute of Urban Health research. During the past year I have been a data analysis and data management specialist for numerous projects. During previous semesters, I have worked as a research assistant to the CADLAB and the marketing department at Northeastern University .
During my spare time, I am often seen taking pictures with my digital camera or shooting footage for my independent short films. I have written/directed/produced/edited three short films: " Zero Hour," "Crimson Dreams," and "Smoker's Reflection".
On a personal level, I enjoy meeting new people, being a part of new communities and sharing different perspectives / opinions. Meeting people from different backgrounds, cultures and interests excites me the most.
